If you just want to setup a solid body guitar buy this, otherwise Look Elsewhere

This book was purchased because of a recommendation during one of John Carruthers free bass setup videos on You Tube. This particular book however, doesn't even touch on Bass guitars! Yes I know "some" information pertains to all guitars however, the action for example on a bass is "typically" much higher than that of a 6 string guitar so the technical info required was not provided. I was left searching the internet in order to transpose the required data on top of the given information. Not good.
If you are looking to setup a fender 6 string electric solid body, then this book is worthwhile. Otherwise look on.

The book is a good beginning to a complicated world of guitar maintance. Good starter kit for any guitarist. Good pictures and good detail. The DVD is a great resource.
