This book brings so much peace!

I just received the book today but already read quite a bit, as the author immediately caught my attention with her own stories that she is sharing with such authenticity. I was amazed how she and her husband again and again chose to focus on God's promises and the goodness of what Jesus did for us - bearing all the sickness and all pain - when they were told that it looks like their baby could have Down's syndrome or when she was diagnosed with Gestation Diabetes. Philippa-Jo Dobson says that those tests are good so that we have a clear focus to pray.... not to accept negative things. She also explains how to build a "protective shield" in the spirit around the baby before it is even conceived - by declaring positive things, having positive thoughts of health and acceptance over the baby.
While reading the book, I felt God's Peace and Presence so strongly. The book filled me with hope and joyful thoughts about pregnancy instead of things like fear or anxiety that I ususally encounter when it comes to that topic. Even though my husband and I want to wait for a couple of years with having children, I am very glad to have already started reading "Pregnancy in His Presence". I highly recommend this book!

This book is just what i needed. The scriptures used as it pertains to pregnancy was very impactful. My faith is stronger a result of reading this book. My view on pregnancy has shifted from the worlds way of viewing pregnancy to God's view.
